1. Install Beaver Builder plugin

Step 1. Install and activate the Beaver Builder plugin.

  • For the free version - Beaver Builder Lite: click on the button Download on the left of the screen and wait for this plugin to download. After that click to activate it.

Step 2. Upload the Beaver Builder plugin

In the WordPress Admin Panel, go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload.

3. Creating A Custom Page Layout With Beaver Builder Plugin in WordPress

Step 1. Visit Pages -> Add New.

Then, a new Page Builder tab will appear in the WordPress editor.

After that, click on the (+) button in the top menu. There will be a list of modules to add.

Beaver Builder plugin has many professionally designed templates for you to choose from. After choosing a template, you can create a new page layout in WordPress right away. Beaver Builder shows a popup with different settings that you can edit. You can change text, color, font, background, margin, padding, margin, etc.

The layouts in Beaver Builder are based on rows. You can drag and drop to rearrange rows, add a new row or remove it. Admins can simply click on the Row Layouts tab and then select the number of columns you want to add in your row.

Step 5: Adding a row to your page layout in Beaver Builder

When you add the row in the Beaver Builder, it allows you to see the live preview on your site. In addition, you can add items like buttons, headings, text, images, slideshows, audio, video, etc to your row by using the basic or advanced modules and widgets. Furthermore, you can select an item and drag it to the row you’ve added and then click on the item to edit its properties. It also allows you to save a row or a module to reuse later. After that, click on Save as button while you edit a row or module to save it.

Step 6: Click on the Done button when you are finished editing your page.

Beaver Builder will show a popup with choices to publish, to discard or save your page as a draft.
